In 2010 Ashford Museum helped celebrate the Girl Guide Centenary with a display showing pictures, badges and photographs of the movement in Ashford.

Girls from the age of five have followed a progressive path from Rainbows and Brownies, then onto Guides and Senior groups. Each section continues to provide skills and experience for young women across the British Isles and British overseas territories.
